We have been dating for a month and 2 weeks and im usually the one to go to him in the hall first or go get him to walk with me and stuff but like i want him to WANT to see me and i want him to be excited or cant wait to see me.. how do i do this? One of my friends told me to play hard to get but i need real advice bc she hasnt really had a man... lol help??How do i make my boyfriend '; WANT'; me MORE ?
actually your friend is right. If you start ignoring him and playing hard to get you will peak his interest as to why are you not mooning over him. Guys love a challenge, so be that for him, pretend you aren't interested and let him come to you. He can't chase you if you are dragging from his feet... lol.How do i make my boyfriend '; WANT'; me MORE ?
Give him the best head he's ever had.
.
What you are really asking is ';Am I sexy and attractive enough to get his whole attention'; Why do you think that you must have sex in order to get your man. If that is what he wanted you would have had sex by now and he would of gone away shortly afterwords and you would be on the prowl for another boy to seduce. That, little girl, is why you will never be a woman. You want a relationship that is based upon friendship not sex. Sex is cheap and it make you cheap. Have respect for yourself and stop being in a hurry to become an adult.
Reveal more and more cleavage everyday. It will make him want to see your boobs and well you know how it goes.................
you cant make or force youre boyfriend to want you more it comes naturally if he dosent like you dump him

How can a girl keep a guy interested?
I've only had a handful of boyfriends in my time, and only one was a serious long-term thing. Two of my past boyfriends have told me they wanted to marry me (not official proposals however), then turned around and dumped me later. Without having any substantial reason, mind you.
I'm starting to think I'm too boring or too clingy or too *something*, although I think in a lot of ways I'm a pretty good relationship prospect. I'm fairly low-maintenance, I'm always up for sex, not overly jealous, have a sense of humour, will let a guy have space if he wants it. The list goes on.
Maybe I'm not challenging enough??? I had one male colleague tell me that guys expect girls to tease them and reel them in only to cast them out; to be mysterious and keep secrets and play hard to get... Well if that's true then I'm never going to keep a man, cause to me that's just playing games which I find stupid, immature and pathetic. And if that's what men go for then I don't really want one!!
So what else could I be doing wrong? The only guys who wanted to stay with me were weird losers I met on internet dating, and one nice guy who I realised I just wasn't attracted to. Yet many (attached) guys, friends and family have often mentioned that they can't believe I'm single, that I'm a great catch, should be married by now... you get the idea. Most infuriating and doesn't help.
I'd be interested to hear from anyone who's in the same situation. How can a girl keep a guy interested?
Men like a challenge .. play hard to get and don't tell him every single detail about yourself straight up.. leave him wanting more .. be a bit mysterious.. don't throw yourself at him.. if he knows he can have you any day of the week.. he will save you as his ';go to girl';How can a girl keep a guy interested?
It's really hard to say without knowing you better.
Everybody likes different things in people, some guys, as well as some girls, like playing games. Some on the other hand don't.
Alot of complaining will drive any man away...
The two who dumped you could have been for alot of reason, without them telling you or us there is no way to tell. Could be that they met someone else or that they never took the relationship seriouse in the first place. Again it's impossible to say without knowing more.
Other things you might want to look at is what type of guys you are attracted to. If you always like the fun and outgoing type, it might be noteworthy that it is also the type that always wants to have fun and go out, with or without you, and possibly with other woman as well. My point being is that alot of attributes that are attractive can also have some negative attributes attached to them. So you might want to analyse what your ex's have in common.
You mention that only losers you met online want to stay with you, that tells me that someone at least wants to stay with you, might want to look into who you are dating again...
';Always up for sex';.
Don't you see that once you give that up, unless there's something very strong bining you and your man together, the relationship starts going downwards because there is no higher degree of intimacy you can reach? I don't know if that means you have sex quickly when you get with a guy or what, but I suggest you leave it for a while before having sex with a man. And don't make it too readily available, too.
BEING AN IGNORANT CAN COST SO MUCH IN LIFE.******* YOU'RE INTO GUYS WHO ALREADY GOT THEIR **** TOGETHER AND TOTALLY FORGOT THAT THOSE GUY CAME FROM THE BOTTOM.......MEN HAVE STRONG MEMORY; .....THOSE YOU'RE CALLING LOSER NOW 3-8 MONTHS FROM NOW CAN BECOME STUNNER; I BET THEY'LL BE THE ONE YOU WANT.
You obviously just haven't found the right man for you. What your work colleague said is what he likes, every man is different and you can't just generalize like that. You just need to keep searching for your man, everyone has bad relationships before they find the person they are meant to be with. You shouldn't let it get you down and if they were losers why are you worried about why they dumped you anyway. I wish you luck with you continued search.
A guy always like it when a girl makes him feel appreciated.
Do you compare your bf to your brother or male friends who are better? A guy hates to be put down, belittled, or have the things he did for you ignored or trivialized. Guys can be pretty sensitive too.
Otherwise, check the quality of the guys you are hanging out with. I personally feel you shouldn't be getting your relationships from internet dating. That's no replacement for the good old fashion way of meeting up and actually hanging out with the person in real life.
I think it could be the playing hard to get thing. 'Cause I had this guy interested for like a year 'cause I never said definitely yes or definitely no and he only lost interest when I said flat out no and set him up with somebody else.
Hey, maybe the problem isn't with you; it's with those fellas. If the blokes you've dated in the past haven't stuck around then that's a good thing and will give you the chance and the motivation to find someone who is right for you. It takes time to find someone but stick with it.
Too drunk.
The answer is, shag your brains out.
wow, girl with sense of humor, they must've been gay.
well playing hard to get is only in the beginning, after that just be urself. as long as u're secure and have self-esteem/independence the guy won't look at u so lightly knowing that u're not dependent on him.
but then mayb u're TOO independent or something. it's guys' function to ';protect'; their women and feel like she's dependent on them to certain degree. mayb they dont feel manly around u ahahhahaa
or mayb u're a ';yes yes yes yes yes yes'; person, a pushover. who knows.
I really don't mean to be harsh, but you seem to be a little desperate. (I'm sorry. No offense meant) Do you really know the guys that you do want to keep? Getting to know guys and taking it slow is not playing games, y'know. And your colleague was being surprisingly honest with you. If you don't want to play games don't play them...just be slower and more careful about the relationships you get into.

What does it mean when he says ';You just need to relax ;)'; thru text message?
With the support of friends, I decided to email the guy I liked after giving many hints. The email was about how I liked him and made many attempts to get together with him, but that he never emailed or texted back. He is busy with an art show so I know his focus is on that right now...
Anyways, I texted him to see if he read the email, he emailed back ';U need to just relax.... ;) '; with the smily face, what does this mean? Does it mean he likes me but will wait for this art show to be over to get to me, or to piss off?? Men are confusing! He plays hard to get--I texted back ';Ur it then';--what should I do now? Its so hard not to text him for the concerts going on here but I have to!What does it mean when he says ';You just need to relax ;)'; thru text message?
He's playing hard to get. Keep at him! Text him none stop. He likes you and loves the attention!
Good luck! What does it mean when he says ';You just need to relax ;)'; thru text message?
If he was really interested in you, he would have replied. I know the work involved in an art show but I also know that those that do it still respond to emails they consider important to them. He is being a little cocky, maybe a lot, saying, chill babe, I will get to you when I want to make time. You deserve better than this and should look elsewhere. At this point, you should not try any more contact and see if he calls you back. Else you will seem needy. I think you deserve to have someone that makes you more of a priority.

I have a question for people who have had friends with benefits?
i have a friend with benefit and we had been talking for almost a year and recently just did it..i liked it but don't know if he did how can you tell if a guy likes the sex? also how can i act towards him that way i leave him wanting more and not thinking i want him for anything else? i would like to continue but i don't know how to make him want more without being obvious or what can i do so not to crowd him..for men what kind of woman with benefits would you like? how can i play hard to get coz i know men want what they can't have..I have a question for people who have had friends with benefits?
You need to have a talk with him. Ask him if he enjoyed it. Tell him you want more sex, but you want to remain friends. Do not play hard to get, as you're more likely to get him to fall in love with you than to get him to just want to get laid.
Friends-with-benefits, as with ANY ';advanced'; sexual activity requires you to have wide-open lines of communication. **It will not work** if you start playing games the way you are wanting to do. You MUST be able to, and actually do, have open and frank communication with him about what you want, where the boundaries are, and how satisfied you are with what is going on. That way each of you knows how the other is feeling.
This is very basic ';Safe-Advanced-Relationship'; stuff. If you are going to engage in anything beyond the traditional relationship structure, you MUST do it this way, the same way you have to practice safe sex when you get him in bed. Anything else is a recipe for emotional disaster.I have a question for people who have had friends with benefits?
the friend (with benefits) i had talked to me and we decided that this is what we would do
if he is a friend, just tell him how you feel...tell him that you liked it and want more, no strings, of course
Well I've had a friend with benefits before and it's all just for fun, it's all just sex! So just plainly tell him what you want. Tell him you liked it and want more! it's not like you want to date him! It's all sex, he will probably just agree to it because its sex, guys love it! lol. hope this helps ya!
If you're trying to make him want more from you, more than likely you're just wasting your time. Guys who have friends with benefits usually don't want them as anything else, because if he did he would have acted upon it by now.loan virus scan

A Story of falling in love with a shy girl...(Please read and help yahoo!)?
Ok I met this extremely pretty and shy girl 2 weeks ago. We met from eye contact, I was walking up stairs she was stood there with friend, and as I walked we had this 7 Second eye contact thing going on.
Then later on that day her, and her friend was hanging outside my class, and kept walking past on purpose until she waved and I waved back then started giggling etc.
That carried on for another 2 days.
Then we finally started hanging out, We hardly spoke at first in person, it was mainly all msn/facebook that crap, but its alright now I talk to her like normal and make her and all her friends laugh.
Anyway after 2 weeks we spend like every break lunch etc together my friends with hers you know. I told her How I feel on thursday and she thought it was amazing what I said.
And on friday this other dude was therem but I was like whatever you know? carry on but he hugged her and left so I was like wtf.
This caused us to argue and she didn't seem to understand what I was saying, Because i care about her and stuff man and she was like why do you even care anyway.
I got it through to her skull, but she was like she likes me as a close close friend. And don't want to loose me over this, followed by all her relationships with boys has f'ed up in past so dont leave me and stuff.
So I was like yeah but im not some random asshole, but she still said she wants to be close friends because of past. So I was like whatever and accepted.
Yesterday, being monday college starts and I see her, I was going to blank her but she shouted my name to call me over now were talking normally again...
I dont know what to think
Does she like me?
Playing hard to get?
Making me chase?
Playing me?
I just dont know man.A Story of falling in love with a shy girl...(Please read and help yahoo!)?
umm thats harsh!!:( im not gonna tell you to talk with her about it cuz thats just cheezy and it already seems like u did so just look at her body language and trust me body language tells you evrything on how she feels:)A Story of falling in love with a shy girl...(Please read and help yahoo!)?
it kinda sounds like she doesnt really want a bf at the moment and just wants to have someone who is just close to and she can tell u everything but i would also tell her how much u care about her and tell her everything since shes tellin u stuff im guessing?
She probably likes you but just due to her past, shes insecure about herself. Just give her a chance to trust you and don't rush her.
she wants you as a close close guy friend.
just leave it at that. and things will work out
i dont think shes playing you or playing hard to get. shes just afraid of getting hurt because of past relationships like you said. just take it even slower. being close friends is the next best thing and if its meant to happen it will

So.....I think you're in college??
Okay, here's some advice from a college girl. WE PLAY HARD TO GET ALL THE FRICKEN TIME. We do. And sadly, we love it. Something about the thrill of being chased after and how ';romantic'; it looks...
I know, what a total load of bs, right??
Word of advice: once you move on and start seeing other people and hanging out with other girls, she'll get the point that she either needs to speak out and say something because she really does want to be with you too. Or she'll lose you. It can't be both. Unless you're into having an ';open relationship'; which never works.
Seriously, move on and try to play hard to get for once. Many girls like to chase after their man too. Let her do some chasing for once :)
wow. i wish there were guys like you around here.
anyways, i think she thinks of you as a super good friend. maybe she likes you but because of how bad her other relationships were she is afraid of falling in love with you.
Maybe if you show her you're different then the other guys she will change her mind.
Good luck

When an Aries Man is Openly Flirting....?
My love interest is an Aries man. We haven't told each other anything, but I know he likes me. He always stares and looks away when I see him staring. Well, because he's cute and every woman at work likes him, I'm playing a bit hard to get. Plus, I'm shy too. Eversince things got really obvious, we kind of freeze up around each other. Before we used to be more chatty. Anyhow, I think he wants me to talk to him more, but when I do, he acts all avoidant, like he's losing his ability to talk...well....so, I play cool even more...the whole thing is spiralling out of control....I think he's really tired of me avoiding him too and has started to openly flirt with another woman, even though he freezes around me...so, I know he's still in love with me....how do I make things work? If I open up I feel he'll run away. If I avoid him, I feel he'll explode with anger....I can tell he's angry. What gives? When an Aries Man is Openly Flirting....?
If he can't limit himself to one woman then maybe he's not worth your time anyway.
I don't think your sign, i.e. Aries, has anything to do with what's happening here but each to his own...
And it does not make sense that he can avoid you and yet you can't avoid him. If I were in your situation, I wouldn't let him to do this to me. It's time to either confront him and discuss this situation or move on.When an Aries Man is Openly Flirting....?
mehn not another horoscope crap......pluto is no longer a planet duh!...
Aries are the symbol of ram they ram it in once out oh who r u?
I'm not saying throw yourself at him, but being shy and so-called hard-to-get can get really tired, pretty fast.
You have to be a little friendly, right guys? A little? Dudes don't like it when hard-to-get girls keep this up without throwing them at least a little bone ;-) That's why your dude is moving on seemingly. Flirt a little...or **gasp** grab him for lunch or bite to eat after work--just the 2 of you--and have a REAL CONVERSATION. See where it goes.
Worst you can do is make a real friend and maybe more, or finally learn dude isn't worth the time you spent posting the question. Good luck sis!

At what point do you break up over wanting a comittment?
Hi everyone. I have been dating this man for almost 4 years. We broke up about 5 months ago which was his choice. We have begun dating again over the past month and a half and I believe him when he says he is not going out with anyone else. He did date someone immediately after we broke up; in fact, I have proof that he was going out with her prior to us breaking up. He says they are no longer together and that she is with someone else. My problem is comittment. I don't expect a ring on my finger, but I have told him that in order to continue the relationship, I need some sort of comittment from him that I am the only one he is with or wants to be with. He says he can't give me that comittment right now because he is ';trying to find himself';. He swears he doesn't want to date anyone else, but still doesn't want to tell me that I am ';the one';. After 4 years, wouldn't a person already know if you are ';the one';? I would appreciate suggestions --- should I break up with him until he is ready for a comittment? Should I accept it and just continue dating him and hope that he isn't going out with anyone else? Should I continue dating him and make him feel like I am not committed to only him? Any suggestions would be really nice at this time. I truly love this man and did want to spend the rest of my life with him. I know he loves me, but is this a time to play hard to get? How do you get a man who you know cares about you to realize he is going to lose you and you know he will regret it if or when it happens? We have already tried talking about it and he is just getting more confused about what he wants. At what point do you break up over wanting a comittment?
Your quest for relief is priority.
I'll share and you decide to use the advice or not.
I was with someone for a year. I was with another person for 4 years. Both at separate times.
And both were not wanting to commit.
I walked away from both relationships.
Now I am happily married to a wonderful partner.
I am with someone that loves me and is committed.
So do I assume you WANT someone that loves you as much as you love them.
So decide if you want to move on and find that wonderful person that will love you for you and wants to share your life.
Respect his choice not to commit, and move on.
Life is suppose to be wonderful for all of us.

Why is it so hard for a military man to find a girlfriend?
I am 20 and have been asking girls out for well over a year since I have been in Washington. I have never really had a girlfriend, could I come by too ';needy?'; I am a little shy, but have gotten over the ';no.'; It hurt a few times, but it gets easier. There were a few girls who I would have climbed Mount Everest just to hear ';yes';, but that all went down like the titanic. There were two girls this year, but they ended up using me and playing a mind game with me (they could sure kiss good, the first one was the first time I kissed a girl...well they kissed me, but I was really nervous). I just can't seem to find a girl who will go out with me-not even one date. They say I am not their type. I have been in the Air Force for about 2 years, have been living here in Washington for a year and four months. How do they even know what type I am if I don't get a chance? Why don't girls make it easier for guys once in a while, I am not a creep. I am a good guy, I would be more than willing to take her out on a nice date, I have been wanting to try this place called the Ram. I heard it was a really nice steak house, but DONT want to go alone. I would be willing to pay for everything, whatever. Any help here (hints) to what I could be doing wrong, or something to make me more successful? I really ain't old enough to go to a bar and pick up a drunk girl to go eat with me (Probably a lot easier if I could, maybe she would be too drunk and give me a chance...lol I am not looking for sex, just a girlfriend really.) I am a virgin. I really don't want a whore or nothing, I would prefer a nice girl I care for and have known for a little while. I am a cowboy and drive a pick-up truck. I am a small town southern man. I am not willing to change my style. It would be like lying to her because what I wear and what I drive is me. I am a real cowboy. I just want some hints on how I could...well I don't know. I just want help, I am getting to the point where I just want to see the world burn. I haven't had any luck lately. Someone tried to steal my tool box from the back of my truck, they stole some tools, stole the chrome tips from my exhaust pipes, they broke the horse that sat on the ball receiver of my truck (evidently someone don't like me too much). I found out I won't be deploying this summer. I just want something good to happen to me. Help please? Any ideas will be much appreciated. Thank y'all. Why is it so hard for a military man to find a girlfriend?

I'm excited about winter being over, so I can get back on the blacktop and play pick up basketball, and you?
Man, basketball is my sport and that's what I do all the time. I could've got a gym membership, and played b-ball during the winter but I was like...not this year. I said I could wait for the summer to play. Where I go every summer there's ALWAYS usually enough to run whole court for a full 5 on 5. When I get on the court a lot of people like to score as many points as possible, Me....I just want to win whether it be a steal, rebound, or pass, or a point. I like to contribute as much as I can when I'm on the basketball court, if I'm not the best offensive player when we play it's fine, It takes some pressure off of me offensively. I like to take the biggest player out of the pack when I pick a team, if I'm team captain. Anybody who knows basketball teams are always built around big men. Usually when there's a big man on our team, we almost always win. I basically try to be what the team is lacking. That's why some games I'm rebounding a lot, scoring a lot, or passing a lot. If we got scorers...I'm mostly passing to these guys instead of trying to score. It's all about playing smart mostly, not how hard you play. Plain and simple...I'm excited. However, I'll have to get there and park somewhere else because the University where I live loves to tow cars and give tickets. I need the exercise anyway....I'll jog or catch the bus and walk the rest of the way. The city is not going to stop me from balling at the spot. This is something I enjoy and nothing stops ballers...you know that! LOL Time to tell your ladies, wives, or whomever you want to call her, that you're heading to the court to play ball with the fellas and get your NBA on the blacktops this summer, I'm hyped and ready to hoop this summer and see if I can improve even more than last year. Peace! Are you excited as well?I'm excited about winter being over, so I can get back on the blacktop and play pick up basketball, and you?
yep same here
havent played much ball latelyI'm excited about winter being over, so I can get back on the blacktop and play pick up basketball, and you?
Yes, Winter needs to end soon. My driveway is my domain where I practice all the time. Although, a few times the weathers been nice and I've went outside a few times and I sucked it up during the cold and played but really I miss having my driveway and taking shots whenever I want not just on days that its warm.

14. No, I will NOT do it while you watch TV.

What the hell is the QUESTION ?????
Can you help me locate where I can improve my writing?
I really want to share my story with others, but I need your assistance to help me convey it in a clear and enjoyable manner. Thanks.
A dark, immense rush of something not him filled his mind.
Kill… kill…
No!
Kill… kill…
Never! I value human life…
Kill! Kill!
Shut up!

And then he blacked out.
A few years later
They took me in because I was “uncontrolled”.
An adolescent boy looked bored as he faced the front of the classroom on his desk.
This boy had brown hair and skin that was about the same color as the norm. He wore his hair short with a tad bit of spikes and also seemed healthy enough to jog a whole mile.
“…the element of fire is hard to control for any mage. That includes even the Masters…” said a male voice at the front of the classroom.
Maybe I should be thankful; an orphan doesn’t usually get an opportunity to study after novice training.
The boy diverted his attention to the classroom window. It was quiet outside, but some people passed by; women carried baskets, children played, men worked, a student walked by every so often… and the occasional magician passed in staid silence.
“Stan,” said the teacher, who spoke directly toward the boy, “Just what is so interesting out there?”
The class giggled.
“Um,” said Stan, after a pause, “Nothing.”
“Fine,” said the teacher, and then he returned to his droning lecture.
The boy looked to his left to see a male student engaged in the lecture. He wore black, medium length hair, and had a skin color that was lighter than most. He did not return Stan’s gaze.
How stupid can Stan get? Thought the dark-haired boy, while trying to look undisturbed. In fact, he was immensely disturbed.
How dull can Sane get? Thought Stan, while looking at his classmate, He has no hint of humor in him.
Stan looked to his right, and saw a girl playfully laughing at him.
She had long, brown hair, and had the same skin color as Sane.
Well, thought Stan, at least Ria has humor.
But he could not hide his shame.
“You are dismissed,” said the teacher.
As Stan was about to burst out the door, he was halted, “Stan, let me talk to you for a moment,”
The boy stopped, turned, and slowly walked back in silence.
“Sit here,” the teacher beckoned toward a chair.
“Yes, Teacher Harold?” said Stan, taking a seat.
Harold was a young teacher, about in his twenties. He owned black hair that he wore loosely, and had a fit body shape. He had absolutely no hint of having a beard or mustache any time in his life, and his skin was a bit lighter than everyone else’s, about the same color as Ria’s.
Harold took a deep breath, stretched, and then started talking, “I guess I’ll have to say it now. This isn’t about your behavior; it’s about you and your abilities.”
Stan gave him a questioning look.
“You have a talent in using Darkness; it seems very natural for you.”
The afternoon sun beamed in the classroom. It made the wooden building seem orange and furnace-like in the silence that followed. A slit of sweat went down Stan’s throat.
Darkness, Stan thought, the most unstable and most dangerous element usedice in magic…
“So what does this mean then, Teacher Harold?” asked the spiky-haired boy.
“I’m worried.”
Stan gave him yet another questioning look.
Harold looked toward the window, “You and your relationship with Darkness,”
Stan paused. He opened his mouth to speak, but then closed it. In the end, his only response was a nod.
Another silence followed, and another slit of sweat went down Stan’s throat.
“Um,” Harold broke the silence, “I want you to stay careful.”
The student nodded.
“You can go now,” said the teacher.
And so Stan left.
The smell of the sea roared in Stan’s nose as he walked out of a wooden building that said “Reymour Academy” on its doors. Rays from the sun warmed his skin, and then he closed his eyes and pointed them towards the sun.
How nice, Stan thought.
The school was in a quiet and peaceful part of the town, away from the ports. In fact, the building was uphill, so Stan easily saw the bustle around the ports. A traveler might mistake the school from far away as a long row of houses that went uphill, but from close up, it was clearly a magic school. The majority of the buildings in the town were all built of wood, and the roads were made of stone.
Stan opened his eyes and then looked to his left to see a girl about the same age as he was. She observed the sea.
The girl turned and faced Stan, “Why’d you make me wait?”
She had brown hair that was short and also had a fit body shape. Her color of skin was the norm.
Stan paused for a moment as the throngs of students traveled down the stone street, “My… uh… behavior.”
“I don’t think so,” said the girl while she crossed her arms.
“N-no! Really, Kina, it’s about my behavior,” Stan said defensively.
Kina looked annoyed and responded with, “Fine,” and then walked downhill.
I’m not stupid Stan, thought Kina, as she walked downhill, I know you’re hiding something, and I’ll figureCan you help me locate where I can improve my writing?

I found this very strange, and it didn't hook me when I started reading. I had to force myself through it. You spend a lot of time describing people by simply saying it. It is like reading off an information sheet. You introduce everything at one time, You could have simply wrote. As he walked into the room his hair brushed onto the low ceiling(or something) and messed up his spiked up hair.
You cannot slowly introduce things.
And so Stan left.
It starts to turn into a children's book with the same movement of Harry Potter. Only less in quality.
This is good if you are aiming for the ages 10-15
I suggest you revise, change the movement, and use correct grammar and punctuation.

“Um,” said Harold, breaking the silence, “I want you to stay careful.”
The student nodded.
“You can go now,” said the teacher.
And so Stan left. Can you please tell me how i can improve how i write?
I agree with Lindsey, there are a lot of sentences that are fragments. A lot of your descriptive sentences can be joined into a single sentence. For example:
In his mid-twenties, Harold was one of the younger teachers in the school. Harold kept his body in good shape and and always appeared to be well groomed. There was never any sign of facial hair and his dark black hair was always as shiny as his aquarium's water.
That's not perfect by any means, but I just want you to see what I mean about joining more of your descriptive sentences together.
Also, if you want to improve your writing overall, the best way to do that is to read. If you don't know what to read, go to TIME's top 100 books of all time and take your pick. Can you please tell me how i can improve how i write?
The first few sentences are fragments which are sentences that are not complete.
Too Much Dialogue.
But Good job though,very descriptive!
An adolescent boy looked bored as he faced the front of the classroom on his desk.
This boy had brown hair and skin that was about the same color as the norm. He wore his hair short with a tad bit of spikes. He also seemed healthy enough to jog a whole mile.
“…the element of fire is hard to control for any mage. That includes even the Masters…” said a male voice at the front of the classroom.
Maybe I should be thankful; an orphan doesn’t usually get an opportunity to study after novice training.
The bored boy looked out of the classroom window. He could easily see people walking on busy, sunny streets out of a one-story magic school. They were bustling about their business; women were carrying baskets, children were playing, men were working… and the occasional magician passed in staid silence.
“Stan,” said the teacher, speaking directly toward the bored boy, “Just what is so interesting out there?”
The class let out a giggle.
“Um,” said Stan, and after a pause, “Nothing.”
“Fine,” said the teacher. And then he returned to his droning lecture.
The boy looked to his left to see a male student, but this student was engaged in the lecture. He wore black, medium length hair, and had a skin color that was lighter than most. He did not return Stan look.
How stupid can Stan get? Thought the dark-haired boy, trying to look undisturbed. In fact, he was immensely disturbed.
How dull can Sane get? Thought Stan, looking at his classmate, He has no humor in him.
He looked to his right, and saw a girl playfully laughing at him.
She had long, brown hair, and had normal skin color.
Well, thought Stan, at least Ria has humor.
But he could not hide his shame.
“You are dismissed,” said the same teacher.
As Stan was about to burst out the door, the male teacher stopped him, “Stan, let me talk to you for a moment,”
The boy stopped, turned, and slowly walked back.
“Sit here,” the teacher invited.
“Yes, Teacher Harold?” said Stan, taking a seat.
Harold was a young teacher, about in his twenties. He owned black hair that he wore loosely. He was also in good shape. He had absolutely no hint of having a beard or mustache any time in his life, and his skin was a bit lighter than everyone else’s.
Harold took a deep breath, stretched, and then started talking, “This isn’t about your behavior; it’s about you and your abilities.”
Stan gave him a questioning look.
“Well, you have a talent in using Darkness; it seems very natural for you.”
The afternoon sun beamed in the classroom. It made the wooden building seem orange and furnace-like in the silence that followed. A slit of sweat went down Stan’s throat.
Darkness, Stan thought, the most unstable and most dangerous element used in magic?
“So what does this mean then, Teacher Harold?” asked the spiky-haired boy.
“I’m worried.”
“Of what?”
Harold looked toward the window, “You and your relationship with Darkness,”
Stan paused. It opened his mouth to speak, and then closed it. In the end, his only response was a nod.
Another silence followed.
“Um,” said Harold, breaking the silence, “I want you to stay careful.”

Can you tell me what my mistakes are in writing?
A boy's hands supported his head as a teacher droned a lecture.
';Even for the best of us, fire is hard to control...'; the teacher announced.
The student's bored look dissolved his handsome face. He was sweating from the heat that came in from the outside and through the classroom window. Not that there really was a window -- it was just an opening through the wooden wall. Stan observed those that passed by that window, even though it was rare to see a person -- women carried baskets, children played, men worked, students changed classes... and perhaps every once in a while, a stoic magician passed.
The sun shone brightly outside the windows in the clear sky.
I feel so confined here. Thought Stan
';Stan,'; the teacher said, ';What's interesting out there?';
The class giggled.
';Nothing, sir,'; Stan said.
';Fine,'; and the teacher continued the lecture with his drooping, long robe following wherever he went.
Stan looked to his left to see a student about his age engaged in the lecture. It was obvious the other student was ignoring Stan.
How stupid can Stan get? thought that student. He fixed the black hair that covered his left eye.
How dull can Sane get? thought Stan.
Throughout the class, some students looked back at Stan and giggled to amuse themselves. Although Stan tried to act unembarrassed, he could not hide his shame. Can you tell me what my mistakes are in writing?
You jump from describing the boy to calling him ';Stan';. We don't know that Stan is the boy, you need to clarify.
Isn't a window just an opening in a wall? You might want to take that sentence out.
Try to be a bit more subtle. Instead of outright stating ';I feel so confined here';, which most people wouldn't actually think in their minds, have him think something that carries the implication of him feeling like that. It's more realistic and makes the reader think more.
I like how you compare both student's thoughts, however be certain that you write the whole story like that. At the moment it's like you're doing third person in Stan's POV, then third person omniscient to include Sane.
When you add description, like the teacher's robe, make sure that it contributes something to the story. It could be telling something about the setting, about the characters, or about what will happen in the plot; But don't just describe things for the sake of it. That gets tiresome. So, if you wanted to describe something about the teacher, make it something that would tell the reader information about his personality or habits.

Intelligent Book Suggestions?
Hi,
I'm looking kindly for some novel suggestion.
I'm a swedish guy in my 20's who lives in the country side, having moved here due to my disillusionment with the capitalist lifestyle. In doing so, I made a lot of sacrifices including leaving my ex-girlfriend and a well paid job behind.
I find people on the land very friendly and they've been so helpful with regard to me finding my feet here. Ive also started playing music with a folk group which I toughly enjoy. I played in an orchestra in Stockholm when I was younger and dreaded it.
The only negative thing I can say is that there is a serious shortage of people my own age here.
Anyway, a lot of the books I have read in the past have played men, whites or rural people in a negative light and I feel that such a culture fails to challenge all western world people in terms of how we impact on the third world. For example, my ex often complained about the fact that I got paid more than her, but when I challenged her for buying clothes made in sweatshops by children, she never changed her shopping habits. My ex would also complain that it was harder for her to get a job because she had a Bosnian surname, but would drive to work rather than take the subway, despite knowing fine well the effect oil production has on third world regions. Its pure hypocrisy and I don't think such attitudes are challenged in many of the books I have read. Please help? It feels that everyone wants to be a victim today and that there is a whole range of authors there to facilitate them in doing so. People want to complain about the inequalities that are part and parcel of capitalism, while still enjoying the luxuries it offers.
I saw a really good film recently about a man who is jailed for beating his wife. The woman in question then meets a new man, before her husband is released having been through the process of rehabilitation. The married pair, against all common sense, then indulge in a secret affair while you are left wondering if he actually has been cured. In the end, the new man is left heart broken. I thought it was a very intelligent film, which left you sympathizing with all three in different ways. I would like to read books which explore intelligent themes as this one does. Themes relevant to the world today.
So to sum up, I'm looking for intelligent books and indeed books which celebrate the rural lifestyle.
I've read Into the Wild before. I liked it but his isolation eventually led to his own demise.
Thanks for reading,

Would you go lesbian if your boyfriend asked you to?
I have been trying to get my girlfriends over the years to do this for me but to no success. Would you as a woman have sex with a female for your bf? How hard would it be to have sex with another woman? I mean women are beautiful and have far more bits to play with than a man. Have you ever been curious to experiment?Would you go lesbian if your boyfriend asked you to?
Well, for one, if she's lesbian, she doesn't have a bf, lesbian is w/w only, so you mean bi. Most girls are interested and/or have experimented, but if someone is pushing, they aren't going to tell it cause they don't want the whole world knowing. Point 2, know of 2 guys that managed to talk a lady into trying it, both of them lost their ladies to another lady, pretty embrassing to be replaced by a woman.Would you go lesbian if your boyfriend asked you to?
If you succeeded in persuading your girlfriend to be a lesbian (if such a thing were possible) she'd very likely leave you at that point. Lesbians aren't noted for having boyfriends.
Obviously what you think you want is a partner who will engage in bisexual behavior. But only for your amusement and only insofar as it doesn't threaten your relationship.
Many men have this fantasy. Some who have gotten what they thought they were wishing for have ended up regretting it.
It's best to keep these fantasies in your head. Trying to push your partner will just annoy her (or worse) or if she goes along you'll likely get more than you bargained for.
Sometimes a fantasy is best left to the realm of fantasy
I'm bi and wouldn't have sex with a woman ';for my bf'; and the bf who asked me that would quickly become my ex-bf. Quite a few women are heterosexual, and a number of the rest of us are not into threesomes. Good luck with your quest, if you really want to do this, find someone who is bi and who is into group sex. And be prepared to have sex with your gf and her boy-toy as well. Lesbians don't have sex with men, or they're not lesbians.
yep
most western women would
If she liked that type of thing why would she be dating you in the first place?
No, I would not. And I would immediately break up with him as well.
**** NO
pervert alert why is ur account still open?
since most women find women more beautiful %26amp; aesthetically pleasing to look at, im sure their answer will be yes, unfortunately for the satisfaction of flithy perverts like you.
For this reason, men should give up on women: their sexual desire is narcissistic
Catt: ';Most girls are interested and/or have experimented';
That says it all....

A man is a dead in a baren field with no surroundings within 300 miles, no footprints, no trees, nothing. A small stick is nearby? One of my best guy friends wants to get physical!?
So this guy is a really close friend. He's recently gotten taller and cuter and a deeper voice!(SO SEXY) lol, and people have always told us we should date but we aways thought it was weird. Well, now at times I think I like him but wouldnt wanna ruin our friendship. So anyways, I was making a list of things to do in 2010 and I asked him what we should do together, like just a normal question. He just sent back a winky face. So I was like haha ok number 51 play spin the bottle with (name). And then he was like aright if you insist. I replied with oh I do. You know i was being flirtatious. Then he said How about we be friends wih benefits? No awkwardness comes along just good times. haha, and Then i played hard to get and he said aww man i was getting excited. Lastly, I said aww well if i feel your a good kisser than MAYBE i can give you a real kiss someday. and he got all happy. But what i'm trying to ask is, is it ok to be friends with benefits? Were both 15, and good frieds. But I kind of do want to kiss him. Hmmm... What to do%26gt;One of my best guy friends wants to get physical!?
Friends with benefits never works, and don't ever be friends with benefits unless you're okay with losing him as a friend.
There is no greater reminder of how insignificant you really are to someone until you become friends with benefits. You won't be his friend anymore, you'll be a booty call, and he will only call you when he wants to get laid, nothing more. One of my best guy friends wants to get physical!?
No. Physical intimacy should be paired with emotional intimacy, and both should be in a romantic setting.
I.e., get intimate with your boyfriend and don't degrade yourself or your relationships by engaging in activities that should be reserved for your romantic partner.

Can anyone tell me what my nightmare means?
It's a little strange, and like most dreams it doesn't make complete sense. Here it is-
I was at my locker, and suddenly realized my friend ';S'; hadn't been here all day. Then I heard the person above me talking to someone saying S had moved to the 8th grade (i'm in 7th). I panicked, and sprinted to the 8th grade hallway. It was so crowded I had to push hard to get anywhere. The hallway was unnaturally dark, and I had trouble seeing anyone in particular. Suddenly a fire bell rang, and the teachers began to gather the students into lines to exit the building. They yelled at me when I ran by them, but I didn't care. The only thing I could even think of was finding S. He had to be here somewhere, I kept thinking. The hallway was endless. it kept twisting and turning sharply. Finally I came to a little black door I had never seen before, and I opened it, hoping maybe S had been stuck here all day. Walking in, I noticed an old man playing an acoustic guitar in the back of the dark room. The only light came from a few candles, and as I walked closer the man noticed me and said ';Welcome. How may I help you?'; I told hin I was looking for S. He nodded and told me he would help anyway he could, and asked if I would like to hear him play anything in particular on his guitar. I sighed and said, ';Anything as long as it's peaceful.'; He studied me for a minute, then began to play. I sat down on a pallet on the floor, and noticed two 8th grade girls sitting beside me. One looked at me and said. ';Hey aren't you in 7th grade? The teachers were yelling at you, why did you come down this halllway?'; I told her about S, and she nodded and said, ';Oh. Well he's standing right outside the door, you know.'; My heart leaped, and I couldn't breathe. I jumped up and ran as fast as I possibly could to the door. With high hopes I threw the door open, practically running into it, and looked right and left, then ahead. I began to run, run no where in particular, but I felt as if I had to run or else everything would be over. After a little while I came to a secret hallway, it ended in a door leading outside. I thought it was a dead end, and turned back. But then I heard him, S, breathe. I literally felt him behind me. My body reacted before my brain fully understood. I turned and reached out for him. He wasn't there. The door leading outside showed it was nighttime, and I realized S would never be outside. He would want me to find him, he wouldn't hurt me like this. My chest burned, and I started crying. Crying so hard my entire body shook, and I couldn't see anything. It felt like my heart was being ripped to pieces, or worse. I've never felt like this. It killed me. I began to scream for S, screaming and screaming till I had no voice left, my throat was raw, and my ears rang with my own screams. Finally I just curled up into a ball and continued crying and muttering S's name. When I woke up I found I had actually cried, and I felt worse than death. Does anyone know what this means? Can anyone tell me what my nightmare means?
A dream is usually a combination of things you experienced or thought of in the past mixed in with your imagination. Maybe, you are concerned for ';S';, maybe it was just another strange nightmare.
(I also have had strange dreams like that too,but it turned out that usually it is just my mind.)Can anyone tell me what my nightmare means?
Sounds like your scared of losing a friend.

Why do the women have to suck it up?
Why do I have to always be the bigger man.Men claim to be the head when all they really are is our trophy. I don't think that we should sit back and let our men play the ';I'm a man for crying out loud'; game, I'm a women whats your point? I was raised by a inmature drunk for a dad %26amp; a lazy mom. What makes it ok for a man but not for women. You want my respect and appreciation you best earn it.If you made a baby you should grow up. We want you to have fun but don't take it for granted. Our kids are our future show them what they deserve. The way you act says everything about you.It tells you children how to treat people and how to act when they are your age.Women are so similar to men that we get lost in the differences. Two nights ago my husband told me that we would have the next three nights to make up for the last few weeks of not spending time together,I had droped my mother off and when I got home he was playing video games.I waited for him to finish his game for our alone time to start but instead he played another then another and so on. I got upset because I don't have all night to wait, I wake up with our 3 kids every day.I let him sleep for an hour or more. The alone time never happened and when I told him he disappointed me he went off saying ';nothing I do is good enough for you.'; thats not true, I just think you shouldn't say one thing and do another enless of course it's more important then what you said you were going to do. Use your head your not stupid %26amp; we know that but it is hard when you are acting stupid so often. We wouldn't nag if you would do the things we ask. Did you ever think that we might NEED your help.I am short and my spouse is tall so I can't reach things or am to busy doing other things that need to be done and can't get to the thing I asked him to do.I ask because I can't do it or get it not because I am trying to control you or mother you.I just don't understand why we the women have to suck it up growing up isn't that hard!? I don't mean to be blunt or confusing but I am confused on the subject of men thinking that women think they are stupid or not good enough. Why do the women have to suck it up?
You give men too much credit! most men don't put that much thought into the process.
If you can hold on awhile, things usually become better as men grow older and mature...
Sorry, there are no easy solutions to fix the male species. Why do the women have to suck it up?
Well, you got THAT off your chest! Sounds like your hubby is a bit selfish. Maybe if you stop doing everything for him he'll have to do some himself...he'll maybe appreciate you more for it. Good luck.

Question Ladies?
If Your Crushing On A Dude Why Not Go Ahead And Tell Him How You Feel Instead Of Playing Hard To Get . This Girl I'm Good Friends With Finally Tells Me How She Feels About Me After Me And Her Best Friend Just Stared Dating. I Mean At One Point In Time I Had Feelings For Her But I Didn't Think The Feeling Was Mutual But My Question Is Why Do Women Always Play Hard To Get And Wait For The Man To Make The First Move ????Question Ladies?
they don't ALWAYS do that
i think that's messed up of her to tell you that she has feelings for you after you've started dating her friend. what kind of friend does that, she's trying to steal you away from her. i think she liked knowing that you liked her because it built up her ego, but once she knew she didn't have the same control over you anymore she felt like she had to make a move and prove that she could get you whenever she wanted to.

What are some psychological ways of attracting men aside from physical traits?
Some examples I can think of are
a) Arousing his competitive instinct
b) Giving him an opportunity to protect you?

2) don't be clingy/needy.

I've read in articles that b, and n are important. But as are many things besides those two.
Holy! After reading your list, I feel like you just gave me some answers. I can tell you some things not to do:
1. Don't discuss your past sex life or brag about what you've done because it makes you seem easy.
2. Don't act like a ditz because they will never take you seriously.
3. Don't act like the damsel in distress. The movies lie. If a man is looking for a seriously relationship, he is looking for a partner and not some little girl who has difficulty opening a pop can.
4. Don't act like you need a man. If you show you are happy in life even when you're single, it shows you don't define yourself by who you're dating. An independent woman is a happy woman.
5. You're right about being mysterious. Part of that is dressing classy. Some slight cleavage is alright, but if you have a skimpy skirt, there's no mystery left.
6. Don't blog about every aspect of your relationship, because it shows you can't keep a secret.
Playing hard to get is the oldest trick in the book. But some girls take it as being the biggest snob, which isn't it. Just by acting hesitant when he asks you out shows you're not the type of girl to just hop in the sack. Men love challenges so you have to keep that going by not putting out right away (or ever).
There's a lot more, but I'm late for work. Hope this helps.

I like him and he likes me but...?
I like him and he likes me...but we're both shy...and he acts like he ';hates'; me?
well, he's little more shy than me. at least I try my best you know...I can tell that he REALLY likes me and so do I. and we both have a little shyness in both of us..our love for each other......it's just so..tender, sweet, and calm...we don't goof around or anything..but we have had some fun conversations here and there but its not frequent..hmmm what to do..what to do... %26lt;3
AND (get this...)
He is also so shy that SOMETIMES he thinks im a weirdo around him and acts like a jerk around me so he won't think he likes me. example: If i ask him a random question out of the blue, he answers then give a sarcastic look/that look that says ';what the hell?'; and then the next thing you know a few seconds later, he's staring and gazing at me constantly in the classroom. He just cannot interpret his feelings towards me so he just acts like a jerk instead. and I HATE it! well..maybe im not SHY..in probably more...AFRAID. because I don't know how he will respond if I talk to him or make a small comment to him..he either might: a) be a jerk again. b) be shy and not answer. or c) answer back in a nice and friendly way..these are all possibilities. Refer to the last sentence (the sentence starting with ';but';) at the end of the previous paragraph. so im half shy and half afraid..but his is worse. so what should i do!?!? i am so scared to talk to him sometimes because of how he might respond! I;ve noticed that he's really friendly to others..anyways if you refer to the last paragraph and my previous questions...i KNOW he likes me. and i do to..and yet he makes it SO complicated because he just likes me THAT much. why can't he just make it easier? is it normal for guys to act like this? what should I do without making a fool of myself...but sometimes when he talks back at me he says ';Im just kidding';...but this DOES NOT happen much. when he be's a jerk, it just makes me feel useless and then he goes and talks to other girls and that makes me jealous and EVEN MORE useless, suckish, crappy. maybe he is being like this cause he hasnt been in a relationship before and doesnt know how to act. maybe he's not mature enough for a relationship..but i just can't let him go..oh man..its like he is PLAYING HARD-TO-GET or something..but idk if that is the right way to put it. he sometimes makes a very small effort to talk to me but fails and gets embarrassed and im happy that he would have to courage to do that..like 2 days ago, when he came up to me and opened him mouth to say ';hi'; but all i heard was a little daft noise and he walks away, embarrassed(but this was RARE, it only happened ONCE). read EVERY sentence carefully..because THEY ALL COUNT. pleaseee DON'T only refer to my last sentences ONLY and answer...should i still give him a chance? could he come around? and please also try to answer my other questions in these two paragraphs..please.
(we're both in high school; freshman; only he's a year older than me [15].)I like him and he likes me but...?

Hey girl, Is it true??!!?
Some signs that he's falling for you
1. By his actions, he shows he's interested and wants to be with you. He holds your hand or takes your arm when you're stepping off a curb. He likes to hug you. He admits he's available and wants a relationship.
2. He enjoys surprising and pleasing you. It might be with flowers, a card or just a silly present. He takes initiative in planning activities he knows you enjoy: a picnic, a night at the theater, a movie or even dancing (for some guys, that's a big sacrifice).
3. He doesn't play games or make excuses. He doesn't wait a week to call, and when he says he'll call, he does. Instead of keeping you guessing, he wants you to know how he feels -- and he says he cares. Note: When men play games, they're either insecure or they want a conquest, not a relationship.
4. He's thoughtful. He opens doors and has you enter ahead of him. He cooks dinner when you've had a hard day. He'll bring hot soup when you're sick in bed, or make brunch on a Sunday.
5. He communicates. He looks you in the eye, listens and hears what you say. He's open, honest and willing to share his personal thoughts, which many men won't do. If he's trying to communicate, it's because he cares.
6. He wants you to meet his family and friends, and then he includes you in activities and holidays with them. This is big! A man won't introduce his new girlfriend to the most important people in his life unless she, too, is extremely important to him.
7. He's observant. He compliments you on your new dress, or says that you look nice when you've had your hair or nails done. When guys do this, they're paying attention.
8. He believes in you. He treats you with respect and appreciates when you do things for him. He doesn't judge and isn't critical. He accepts you as you are.
9. He offers to help. He'll fix your sprinkler heads, check the oil in your car, repair a leaking toilet or take out the garbage. He's Mr. Fix-It, but doesn't go overboard and become Mr. Pain-in-the-Rear-Fix-Everythin...
10. Occasionally, he'll skip Monday Night Football with the guys to be with you. Of course, realize that this may mean the two of you watch Monday Night Football together instead.
11. And the ultimate sign: He lends you the keys to his new Corvette. Whoops, let's not get carried away!
When men care, they go the extra mile, and you'll know where you stand by the way you're treated. If the new guy in your life is doing some of these things, it means he cares. If he's doing all of them, he's hooked!Hey girl, Is it true??!!?
Good job! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
There's too many questions in Y!A that has to do with does-s/he-doesn't-s/he and how-do-you-know. I think I'm going to cut and paste your answer. Would you mind?

Who else thinks Super Bowl XLII would make a good movie?
Like the entire season.
The movie starts with the AFC Championship between the Colts and the Patriots. There's a 5-10 minute segment of the Colts game-winning drive, followed by Tom Brady's interception to end the game. The reporters comment on how the Colts were destined to beat the Patriots to get to the Super Bowl and how no one will doubt that Peyton is one of the greatest QBs ever.
During the credits, a catchy tune plays. The credits play over highlights of Eli Manning. It starts with Eli's draft day, with media commenting on his refusal to play for the Chargers and the trade to the Giants. It continues with reels of Eli's struggles through the years and the media's doubt that he will become a good QB.
Movie starts out with stuff I don't feel like thinking up right now. Something about the Patriots off-season recruitment for a ';super team.';
There's a lot of commentary starting early about the Patriots and the Colts being undefeated. They're the two titans. The Patriots are seen as the ';evil'; team as they humiliate teams by running up the score. There's also a lot of elements about Eli going from boyhood to manhood.
Then comes the epic Colts/Patriots game. It's a game of good v evil. They each play hard, but the Patriots are just too much. After that game, the Patriots break free and an undefeated season becomes very real.
The Giants then play the Patriots in the last game of the regular season. Eli keeps it close, but Brady's patent last-minute drive wins the game. Eli tells his team, ';I know we can beat them, we just need another chance.';
So the Patriots sweep everyone in the playoffs, and the Giants creep by the Packers by a field goal. Two weeks until the Super Bowl, the Giants are a huge underdog and the Patriots dream of a perfect season is almost complete.
The Super Bowl comes. Not a whole lot until the fourth quarter. Giants are up, but then Tom Brady has another last-minute drive. Everybody watching is starting to give up hope for the Giants, but then Eli has a drive to match Brady's. When the Patriots get the ball back, Brady can't do it again, and the Giants win.
People comment on how Eli will never be doubted again, how Brady and the Pats are human, and how Brady couldn't get past the Mannings in the last two years.
Movie ends with Eli talking to Peyton or something.Who else thinks Super Bowl XLII would make a good movie?
I think the amazing Santonio Holmes catch in the past Superbowl would be better :P

Is there really such thing as sexual equality (from a man's point of view)?
I mean, especially if they are mildly cute to attractive....
Think about it... Just let me list things... It really isn't fair or equal.
Women can work and be and do just about anything a man can, in what used to be his line and field of work even.
Women get respected for the same types of careers and jobs a man gets.
Women have an easier time socially, growing up (provided there are girl things, there is no beefy pecking order as with men); they don't get beat up or have to fear walking down hallways because of other women, well, at least most of the time.
Women can have children, which makes them have a higher value in society.
Women can choose to not have children these days, get an abortion, use protection, or contraception.
Women get more sex in a year, or can have it, than most men in their lifetimes. There are reasons for this.
Women just have to wait for men to approach. Men have to get over the fear of rejection, most men anwya, in order to get himself a catch, and 7-8 out of 10 girls are taken or don't want a relationship. There isn't much risk for the woman; if she is taken, she's taken; if she doesn't want a relationship, she just says so.
Women get to pick and chose their guys, because there are so many of them that they have to chose from, if they are slightly attractive.
Women don't have to sign up for selective services, yet can join the military and reap all the same benefits. Women usually, like my friend, end up falling into some for of job that earns them higher salaries.
Women are encouraged from little girls, to read and journal, therefore, developing intelligence, and doing better in school and life throughout. Men are encouraged to play games and be rough, which used to play out when a man worked construction later or played football or something.
Women are often encouraged through school. I used to watch when I was in grade school and high school, the natural attraction and affection male, or female teachers showed to most young girls or women, which pushed them to get better grades.
There is more concern for a woman by parents to do good intellectually than a man.
Provided, women may have had a hard time at times in the past, but it is no longer this way at all. Men have way less choices than women. I will admit, men no longer have it as hard as their fathers and grandfathers did too.
If you're a man, you better get your act together. If you're a woman, you still have the option of being how women used to be, and it's okay. It's acceptable. But you also have the opportunity to be an astronaught,, or the next presidential candidate. A man only has one way things can go, unless he is brought up spoiled and inheriting wealth.
I'm sure there are many more ways.Is there really such thing as sexual equality (from a man's point of view)?
no such thing
example-at my school in gym class the guys have to do 100 sit ups to get a 10/10 while the girls have to do 40 to get a 10/10.....and the teachers and principal say that girls and guys are equal in every wayIs there really such thing as sexual equality (from a man's point of view)?
Are you sharing the same reality as the rest of us? It doesn't seem like it.
Just because you typed it doesn't make it the reality that most women walk around with.
~Divine

I have a question for the MEN out there.?
Okay, so, I am madly in love with this guy but I have learned from the past (not the I have been in love before) that the more you show a guy your into him, the more he wants to run, so I decided with this one, he is definetly full of himself. Yes please do not critisize, but he is 50 has like 10 kids, almost all different baby's mommas, and is great in bed. Been married a few times, and I guess I just want him to chase after me cuz I can tell it has always been the women chasing after him, I want him to be chasing after me. I already slept with him, what do I do to make a man chase after me? how do I play hard to get? do I make him jelous? Do I tell him I met someone else? Please help me.I have a question for the MEN out there.?
The guy your are describing don't give a rats azz about anything . Play hard to get and he will just go play somewhere else ..Be a easy lay and he will be around to do it most of the time until he finds something a little more uh exciting .. Just like a woman to want something no woman can really have ..I have a question for the MEN out there.?
Well...in my opinion, the main reason why i would leave a girl who is really into me is because her if you try to hard, it might seem like your the clingy type of girl, which kinda makes you question your freedom when your around another woman. That probably means you dont have to change much from where you already are, just drop hints, but dont be the first to start something, let him make the decisions in a way, see if he wants to be with/near you or not. Jealousy probably ain't the best decision, if you say you met someone else, might get him to think that you and him were just something that was just a thing. But anyway, i dont know the exact status of your relationship so i can't really say. Hopefully im helpful...in some way. Lol
