Should women be allowed to play professional/college football with men?

I don't think so, unless of course this woman is rather large in muscle. In college/professional football, the guys that will be attempting to hit you, are around 300-400 pounds of muscle, a small set woman could get killed. There are men who have played who have lost their ability to play due to getting hit so hard, how much easier do you think it would be for a woman?Should women be allowed to play professional/college football with men?
NO, end of story. MEN AND WOMEN ARE DIFFERENTShould women be allowed to play professional/college football with men?
Im female and I agree, its really dangerous specially seeing all of them tackling with brute force and piling up on each other!

like you said if the women has the same build and muscle as the males in the football team then I woulden't see anything wrong with it.

But mainly males are built different the females, more so that they can build muscle and with stand the tackles and shoving from the opposing team.
I think this would be asking for serious injuries in most cases. Sure, there are probably women who are physically strong enough to withstand being tackled by a 300 pound linebacker, but I don't think that's the norm.

Our society has trained us to be so concerned about equality of the genders that we're often hesitant to admit that the genders actually *are* different. Men and women physically are not built the same...end of story.

See the third (full) paragraph of this article: http://www.oregoncounseling.org/Articles鈥?/a>

I am all in favor of equal rights under the law, but to deny basic differences is a separate issue.
As long as she is fit and plays just as well as a guy. I've seen a 200 lb girl playing football in highschool and she was just as good as the guys... Obviously a small woman would not be ideal on a football team but really, small men are not either...

It would be very difficult for a woman to accomplish such a goal because women are built differently from men (typically more fragile) but there are atypical women that may have the potential to play football. If they prove themselves why not let them try...
sure, i guess they should be allowed, but biologically there is just no way a woman can compete with a man in professional football. perhaps in college a girl could, especially as a kicker. but honestly, there is just no way that a non-roided up woman could compete cuz lets face it, men are just bigger, faster, stronger. im not saying that there is not a fair share of women out there who are amazing athletes, just trying put um at running back, or wide reciever and then see what happens when they charge into the trenches or take a route accross the middle. football players have no mercy for opponents so if a woman wanted to try it, by all means, go. just complain in the end look for some sympathy
No nfl shouldnt be unisex for the main reason you cant just allow women into a mans sport league even if she is large and strong enough for the main reason why you wouldnt alow a man who wasnt strong enough to be in the nfl play in a womens league. If women want to play football they should start a league.
No.. ITs only stating the obvious to say men are bigger, stronger, and faster than us.. Its simple Biology and Physiology. I think women could kick.. but the thought of even that is scarey.. I do not want to see sum Lineman or Linebacker or safety trying to knock a girl on her a$$ after a botched snap and she is trying to get a punt off or throw the ball forward. Womens rights is fine, but common sense should over rule that.... Football players jobs, especially denfenders, is to try to kill whoever has the ball... sum 250lbs LB lineing up sum female receiver.. OMG, gah! no thanx dont wanna see that.
Uh, no. Unless it's one of those olympic female weightlifters from Hungary, they should not. Speaking about average sized women, if they get on the field against 11 250-300lbs 6 feet tall men coming at her at charging speed.....Well, let me put it this way: IT WON'T BE PRETTY.
I think women playing a higher level of football would have more of a tendancy to get hurt. Not to be sexist, but it's just reality.
Heck no. I'd stop watching the NFL if they allowed women in. They belong in the kitchen and doing laundry.
Your question is a moot point. There is nothing prohibiting a woman from playing at those levels except for the amount of talent required.
i think if they're good enough to play and are willing to take the risks, then why not?

i've heard of female kickers doing really well on men's teams.
I wouldn't want to see it. It'd ruin the game because you know they wouldn't be playing at 100% for some guys scared to hurt her.
yes.

all the women ive seen that play

are holy crap super fat beasts.

if there good enough to play, why not?
No. It's just not cool. Those hits hurt dammit!
no.
