Playoff predictions for 1st round?

alright i haven't been here in the last few weeks so i dont know if this question has been asked a lot so dont hate if it has.

tell me who will win in the 1st round match ups and why. and who are the x-factors

lakers and thunder - lakers if bynum is health i think the lakers will kill them if not it will be close. bynum is good at closing the lane. also he plays well againts the thunder this season 19 points 8 boards and 2 blocks and shooting 62% from the field. in 3 game all of which were wins in the one game he didnt play lakers lost badly. bynum is the x-factor for the lakers for thunder russel westbrook. durant is going to play well i know that but can his number 2 man have a good series.

nuggets and jazz. i have to take the jazz they are the best home team in the league. i dont see them losing at home to the nuggets and with george karl out and the way that they are playing i dont see them beating the jazz. Jazz the x-fator is boozer is he health and how health will he be.

nuggets x-factor is k-martin. you know billups and anthony are gonna play well who else will step up they need a big man to step up.

mavs and spurs. tough one mavs have a slight edge it depends on how health tony parker is. manu has been balling. tim duncan will play well. but will tony parker. for the mavs jason kidd and dirk will ball terry will play well but i think butler and marion will need to play well too. the x-factor for the mavs is a tie between butler and marion. who will play better defense and who will help scoring. for the spurs tony parker. if hes health it changes the game because kidd cant keep up with him. he is too good offensively when health.

suns and blazers- suns the blazers are just too beat up right now no oden no roy no chance.

x-factor for the blazers camby shutting down amare will be big if he can. x-factor for the for the suns jason richardson if he gets going its game over no matter what.

cavs and bulls... easiest one cavs. just too big. the bulls have no one to stop lebron and down low shaq and big z are just too big. i think the bulls have better guards but you need big men to win. x-factor for the bulls Noah can he back up his talk. x-factor for the cavs jamison. jamison needs to play well through the playoffs to have them go all the way and needs a strong start.

celtics and heat. people think this is close i dont. celtics will win. celtics have better big men. better point guard. just an almost all around better team. wade will have to be huge for them to have a chance. x-factor for boston ray allen he always seems to be the x-factor and the question is can he knock down his shots. for the heat the x-factor is d-wade can he carry this team. i dont think so but i cant think of anyone else who could make a difference in this series.

magic and bobcats. magic easy i think it will change the playoffs cause it will be a hard fought series but magic. howard is just too much. the bobcats have no one who can even come close to stopping him. x-factor for the magic lewis. vince is going to play well. but can lewis get it going he hasn't been great this season but will he step it up in the playoffs. for bobcats x-factor wallace and jackson. jackson needs to take less shots and still score and wallace needs to be aggressive on offense.

hawks bucks. would have been close but with bogut down i dont think it will be close. i think the hawks will take this one pretty easily. no big for the bucks and the hawks have to good of shooters for them. x-factor for the hawks smith can he keep that great defense and still score the ball well. he has been underrated this season and is the hawks second best player. for the buck the x-factor is jennings can he take better shots and make most of his shots like at the start of the season.

this is what i think what do you think on who will win why and who the x-factor will bePlayoff predictions for 1st round?

lakers 4-1

cavs 4-0

celtics 4-2

hawks 4-1

spurs 4-3

Jazz 4-3
put this down easily.

cavs sweep bulls (no big man to stop shaq, big z, varejao, hickson and THE KING)

celtics win over heat in a deciding game 7 ( celtics still more experienced)

hawks beat bucks in 6 (no bogut)

magic sweep cats ( they would be draining 3's that will whip this pesky bobcats)

lakers win in 7 hahaha (like the 2nd round rockets/lakers series last year, kobe won't allow his team to lose)

nuggets burst jazz in 6 games, believe me (the energy of the nuggets bench really brings excitement to the rocky mountain country, jr smith, birdman, etc)

suns sweep blazers (no roy period!)

mavs take this in 5 games. (spurs are 2 old, mavs add haywood to make tim duncan fall short all day long)
What up frankly I'm Just Honest....

Lakers vs thunder - Laker will destroy these cats. Koeb is the best in the nba, gasol is strong down low, fisher is a vetran PG that can lead the team deep down the strecth, artest is a lockdown defender that can stick any one and yes LEBRON, if bynum is healthy he can be tough, odom is strong off the bench and has experience!

Jazz vs nuggets - I say nuggets melo is in the top in the nba is a beats, billups - is a vetran PG that can light it up when he wants to, JR smith- can shot from down town and help melo out when nedded to, birdman- can jump up there and block who ever. It will be close but nuggets will pervail!

mavs - dirk is awsome, j terry is a vertan sg THAT CAN LIGHT IT UP FROM BEHIND,coron bulter can score willinley, j kidd is old but still has a lil left in him

suns - Brandon roy isnt even palying that is gonna hurt the blazers real bad. steve nash - can get the job done, amare - is to strong down low for about anyone beside dwight howard. grant hill - can score a bit to help you out

cavs

celtics

magic

and hawks will rest!

-big bangz!
Lakers vs. Thunder

Joakim is talking about shocking the world against Lebron but I believe OKC has the tools to shock the world against the Lakers. I may be the only one going this way but I beleive that OKC will take the Lakers to 7 games. The Lakers will only win because of experience and Kobe's heart. Kobe and Durant will get theirs but the ex-factor is Westbrook. Neither Fisher or Vujacic will be able to handle him. I also feel that folks are giving Gasol and Bynum too much credit. Jeff Green, Nenad Krstic, Serge Ibaka and Nick Collison collectively shouldn't be overlooked especially if Bynum isn't fully healthy. Finally, Artest hasn't proven to be much of a factor with the Lakers this season in my opinion.

Lakers in 7

Nuggets vs. Jazz

Deron and Chauncey will be exciting to watch but I give the younger Deron the edge. If Boozer is out, Millsap is perfectly able to handle K-Mart. Boozer and Milsap will be too much for K-Mart and Nene to handle in the post. Okur's game brings Nene out which will leave even more opportunites for the Jazz's bigs. Wesley Matthews could be the icing ont the cake depending on his play. Yes, Melo will get his, especially since the defensive presence of AK will be missed but it's going to take more than that and they have nothing else.

Jazz in 6

Mavs vs. Spurs

The Mavs as a team (Dirk, JT, Caron, Marion, Kidd, and Haywood) are on a roll and I wouldn't be surprised if they swept the Spurs. The Spurs hobbled into the playoffs. They look done for but may have enough in them to pull out one.

Mavs in 5

Suns vs. Blazers

Without Roy, Suns will sweep the Blazers. LaMarcus Aldridge, Marcus Camby and Andre Miller is not enough to handle Amare, Nash and J-Rich. Nothing else to say.

Suns in 4

Cav vs. Bulls

I am a huge Bulls fan and would love to see them win but I am realistic. Rose and Mo Will should be exciting to watch. Kirk and Delonte will have their moments of shine as well. Loul will not be able to handle Lebron as we all know. Jamison should school Taj Gibson and if he doesn't then the Cavs will have a problem. No big on the Cavs team (Z, Varejao or Shaq) should be able to maintain Noah. He is a rebound machine on BOTH ends of the floor and has learned how to position himself well in his young career.

Cavs in 5

Celtics vs. Heat

Wade will get his but Beasley will have to prove his value against Garnett especially since he is getting older. Even if he does, there is no answer for Rondo (Arroyo???) and Pierce (Q-Rich???).

Celtics in 6

Magic vs. Bobcats

Gerald Wallace and Stephen Jackson will give it their all but it will not be enough to handle the Magic.

Magic in 4

Hawks vs. Bucks

Even though the Bucks have been hot going into the playoffs, they will not advance without Bogut.

Hawks in 4
thunder 4-3 durant and the youthfulness of the thunder they are way healthier

nuggets 4-1 the nuggets have a marvelous starting lineup and balkman and birdman could start on a few teams honestly and kirilenki is out

mavs 4-2 parker has been out 2 long and jefferson just doesn't fit in

suns 4-0 roy wonder is out and amare is kicking butt

bulls 4-3 noah is an elite bigman who should have been an all-star and if injuries weren't there the bulls could have been the 3rd or 4th seed

heat 4-1celtics have just looked sloppy and they're old and they are missing that elite bench from 2008

magic 4-3 the bobcats worked hard to get here and thomas is with the bobcats who did alot last postseason for the bulls and honestly shouldn't have been traded but the magic and howard are just 2 good 4 them

hawks 4-1 bucks wont last and bogut is their hope and he is out so....
