We havent won the prem in God knows how long Chelsea are leading in the premiership we always get knocked out of the champions league weve never won it this was a good trophy oppurtunity but looks like we blew it.

Delboy - our entire back line inc keeper was reserve. Eastmond and JET are reserve. Vela and Walcott are also now reserve - they dont usually start ahead of Nasri, Rosicky and Arshavin. Out of the subs Ramsay is reserve. So yeah, that basically means it was our RESERVES.Why did we have to play such a weak team! Another trophy gone now, Are are killing me man!?
I thought the squad should have been a bit stronger too, especially the back 4, but on the other hand, Arsenal have a brutal stretch coming up in the league: they've got Villa, Man U, Chelsea, and Liverpool all in the next 2 and a half weeks. With their recent injury history, I can understand Wenger not wanting to take any chances in a year where they have such a good shot at winning the league.

I was also pissed the moment I saw the starting lineup. I want to see Wenger's post-game interview cause as an Arsenal fan I would like an answer for his undermining of the game, whether we have a tough 2 weeks ahead of us or not.
Nothing in the next 2 weeks is guaranteed by playing reserves in this match, we had enough midfielders at least to put out a stronger team without risking squad strength or fatigue in the upcoming games.
IF we 9+ points out of our next 4 matches maybe I'll forgive Wenger for this eventually but I think I have an idea how Aston Villa fans felt last year in the UEFA Cup..
Quick point it's 4 trophyless years you've had which will be 5 IF you lose out in the Prem and CL, not 5 years going on 6 lol(things aren't as bad as you think in other words).
Anyway I kinda feel your pain I felt annoyed after the FA Cup semi last year against Everton wishing we'd played full strength in that and half strength in the following Portsmouth game not the other way around but that's what happens, at the end of the day the team out there was still pretty good and could of beaten Stoke if they'd been at there best they just weren't, if Wenger hasn't put the FA Cup as a high priority then I agree it's a shame but Stoke where superb and well worth there win, Wenger clearly felt they had enough about them to win the tie but alas no and this was always going to be a tough game anyway.
I think with Liverpool and Man Utd gone this was a great chance which has kind of bypassed now so agree with you that a better side should of been played in this match but you still may have lost it, you're still in the title race long way to go there and the Champions Leagues not impossible so chin up lad.
